Bellingham National Tamale Day (Week)!

National Tamale Day is March 23rd and instead of celebrating just on Sunday the 23rd, we decided to turn it into a week long food party! Join us starting Monday March 17th for unique flavors and a special mini-tamales flight on Sunday the 23rd!

Here are the tamal flavors you can expect at our Bellingham location: each flavor will have limited quantities each day. Come early to try them out.

➜ March 17th: Monday: Sweet potato mole (vegan)

➜ Tuesday: Fresa | made with real strawberries - sweet tamal | (vegan)

➜ Wednesday: Costillas en salsa verde (pork ribs in tomatillo sauce)

➜ Thursday: Jalapeño, bean & cheese (vegetarian)

➜ Friday: Pork belly cooked with pineapple, mango & habanero sauce

➜ Saturday: Jack fruit "pork" in salsa roja (vegan)

➜ March 23rd: Sunday: Mini-tamales flight paired with a beer flight deal

NOTE: We have limited quantities of each tamal available. Tamales will only be sold cooked, not frozen. Arrive early if you don't want to miss trying these special flavors.

Each day starting on Monday the 17th, our kitchen will feature one unique flavor tamal that you have probably not tried. Each day will be different. The event will culminate on Sunday the 23rd with a special once a year event: a mini tamales flight paired with a beer flight. This mini-tamale flight will feature up to four different flavors in a mini version.
