El Sueñito Running Club

Looking to meet new people, make new friends and at the same time get a little physical activity into your weekly routine? El Sueñito Running Club might be a good fit for you. El Sueñito Running Club continues to meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm. Runners, strollers and walkers of all abilities, sizes and skills, come together at our taproom to build community through running and sharing of a drink and meal. If you have never joined us, or if you haven’t come back in awhile, this is a sign that you need to be at El Sueñito on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. There are prizes for participants that complete at least 10 runs and even bigger prizes for those who continue coming back. Follow @suenitorunclub for weekly updates and routes. You don’t have to run to join us. Our fearless leaders, Kristina and Hank, make sure that everyone feels welcomed and part of the group. Here is a bit about Hank and Kristina: When living in Seattle, Hank and Kristina were members of the Flying Bike Run Club. Eventually, Kristina became one of the co-leaders. Not only is this where they formed great friendships with fellow runners and beer connoisseurs, but this is also where they met each other. As you can probably imagine, run club is something special for Hank and Kristina. The two have run many races together, as well as cheering each other on from the sidelines. Eventually, life brought Hank and Kristina to Bellingham. They both have lived in other parts of the country, and knew how difficult it could be to find a group with similar interests and desire to connect with the community. After their success with this in Seattle, they wanted to try it in Bellingham. They couldn’t find what they were looking for, so they created it! Hank and Kristina are proud to have created a safe space for people to not feel judged and just enjoy the company of others. Now you can find them at the brewery every Wednesday at 6:30pm with a growing group of people that just want to run, socialize, and enjoy food and drink together.
